Molasses is make from sugar cane or sugar beets. Sweet sorghum syrup is known in some parts of the United States as molasses but is not a true molasses.
In 1919, near Keany Square, Boston had a molasses disaster. Two million gallons of crude molasses burst from a tank and pushed it's way through the city. At least 21 people were killed and 150 people injured, and took a week to clean up. Boston residents claim that on hot days, the area still smells of molasses.

  1. Does Teddy like Molasses as much as Honey?

  2. Bearwiskers likes molasses, he uses it in his BBQ sauce, but it's a secret, so don't tell anyone.
