Death Valley, is 282 feet below sea level, the lowest point in the nation. Mt. Whitney at 14,491 feet, is the highest point in the lower 48 states.
The state insect is the California Dogface Butterfly.
The state animal is the Grizzly Bear.
And...California grows 99.5% of all the dates grown in the United States!
California is beautiful, Bearwiskers says that you should visit the Golden State if you get a Chance, Eureka!
I have never visited CA, but I would like to someday.
