Yeah Yeah Yeah
On this day in 1964, The Beatles make their first appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show. John Lennon and Paul McCartney played together in the late 1950's in the Quarrymen. With George Harrison they formed the Silver Beatles in 1958, and added Ringo Starr in 1962 and dropped the Silver from their name. "I Want To Hold Your Hand" sparked their success.

Wow........ I remember seeing the Beatles perform on the Ed Sullivan Show.
