Richard Wagstaff Clark

The Dick Clark Show debuted on ABC-TV today in 1958. On the show were Connie Francis, Pat Boone and Jerry Lee Lewis. Dick was hosting a radio show in 1955. When Bob Horn (hosting Bandstand) went on vacation, Dick filled in for him. When Bob was fired for a drunk driving arrest, Dick took over the show, and the rest is history.

    I don't remember Bob Horn.
