On this day in 1957, Buddy Holly and the Crickets record and released "That'll Be The Day". Holly and his band"The Three Tunes" had recorded the song in 1956 in Nashville, Tn., but was not released. The song was also recorded by the Quarrymen, you know them as the Beatles.
