On this day in 1965, NBC airs the first episode of Hullabaloo which was to compete with ABC's Shindig. The first show had The New Christy Minstrels, Gerry and the Pacemakers, The Zombies and Woody Allen.

    Interestingly, I didn't watch Hullabaloo or Shindig. I wonder why.............
