Today in 1955, Billboard reports that 45 rpm single record formats was outselling the 78 rpm's for the first time. Bearwiskers says... wow - that's a record!
I always looked at the Billboard to get records as a teen. I bought a lot of 45's. Can you still buy 78 and 45's? Made me think of 8 track tapes. ugh.... tapes Now, today, if I want a "single", I go to I tunes.
