In 1908 J.K. Farnell company makes the first British teddy bears.
The alpha trademark has been used on all Farnell teddy bears since the 1920's and were made of Yorkshire mohair. A alpha teddy bear was bought for Christopher Milne and went on to become Winnie the Pooh! Cool!
