Mail Order Catalog
In 1872, Aaron Montgomery Ward produced the first mail order catalog. His first catalog was a single sheet of paper, and 2 decades later it grew to a 540 page illustrated book with over 20,000 items. The first Sears catalog was published in 1888 and grew to 322 pages by 1894. Hammacher Schlemmer was founded in 1848! Bearwiskers is waiting for his first Christmas catalog which should arrive any day.
