This is what Bearwiskers and I have been working on this month............

This was a wedding present.
It's a Fayed Edge Quilt.
It included 20 yards of fabric.
We made it to go along with the sheets we bought.

Memorial Day

Remember those who died in our nation's service.

Do Not Forget

Do not forget the men and women who made it possible for us to have the freedoms we have today. No other country has given more for the causes of freedom than the United States of America. God Bless America and our brave citizens of this great nation.

Declaration Day

Memorial Day was formerly Declaration Day, and it commemorates the men and women who died while in Military Service to the United States. First enacted to honor Union ans Confederate soldiers following the Civil War. The first known observance was in Boalsburg, Pa., on October, 1964. May 30 was chosen as the official day of observance because it was NOT the anniversary of a battle. God bless America, and God bless our military service members.
